73 no name question

so a freind of mine bought a 73 no name,12 hp and was telling me that it has no brake pedal,it works from the clutch pedal,is this true and are they a long frame tractor,i beleive they are the same as my 75 c 160 -8,any input would be appreciated

Yep, its true. There is one pedal on the left ( as your sitting on the machine) and its a clutch brake combo.

Partial depressed pedal is the clutch, fully down, the brake.

Doesn't make much difference, tranny should be stopped, placed in gear, then go.

Stop the Horse, pick a speed (gear), start moving.

74 was the first year for separate pedals, and as I found out not long ago the 73 was the only year they had the words brake and clutch on the same pedal before that nothing was on it.
