Snowblower wings - can you buy these?

Does TORO still sell the wings to the single stage snow blower? There is one by me without the wings however I don't know how difficult it will be to find. Any feedback would be appreciated

You sure the seller did not just take them off? Apparently, lots of folks do (there is a discussion going on right now about it in another thread..).

He took them off but does not know where he put them. It is being sold w/o them. This make me a bit nervous.

All they are is flat pieces of metal bolted on the top and sides, not hard to make. I don't think that all blowers came with them, not sure...

The 5502 extensions were on some models 1965-69 and optional as kit 8-0221 1970-1973. These were a simple flat plate.

From 1974 on the part numbers were 103552, 93-1617 and 93-1617-01. These last ones are still available from Toro. These are all broke at the front edge and bent to an angle equal to the break in the snowthrower end plates so the ends point straight ahead and not so inclined to pull you into the bank but still do. I am going to add flat plates to the front to increase the straight ahead portion to see if it helps.

I may have a set that I took off of a single stage blower for the vertical shaft engine that I used the auger to restore the blower for my 312.8. If I have them, I will give them up for shipping and $5.00 handling. I am in NC waiting for the big snow.
