Cool video Steve. :handgestures-thumbupright: I have rebuilt one in the past and understood it, but sure is cool to see it in action. Thanks for posting it up. :thanks:

Neat video Steve Did you say "fight me or bite me, Baby"? :D

That would be cool to bring to the big show as a demo piece or who can reassemble it in the fastest time

Mods/Admin- is this video worthy of our new Video section? I think it is!

Great video Steve...when it comes to transmissions I have no clue how to clean/repair/rebuild them but this video makes it look pretty easy. My son came in while I was watching this video and I asked him if he knew who was talking in the video and he says "uncle Steve" it's kinda funny since they have only met Steve at one show.

great video steve....

that style of trans makes it ideal for a video such as this. i did spin my rebuilt 1057 trans (not sure of the #) in half of the housing through all the gears, but its hard to keep everything right. spacing the side plates with bolts and nuts/ threaded rod or whatever in that earlier trans to test is a great idea.

I did a quick video here to show the difference between the differential and the brake shaft gear for the transmissions that have the needle bearing vice the ball bearing in the brake shaft hole in the 5003 / 5010 and the later 5010 transmissions. :)
