So Steve, what I gathered from that last video is this, regardless whether on not it's the early or later trans...

before you open one up, you must confirm that you have a pair? :beer:

Here is a short video concerning the replacement differential that they sent out for the 5003 and 5010 transmissions. This particular differential has the bolt on bull gear to the differential housing and is talked about in the manual on page 12. click the video...easier to watch then to explain... :)
