dsholler 54 #2 Posted September 27, 2012 If you look at the documentation, they specify which pulley the belt should go on. In my case, the mower says to put on the inner (larger and therefore faster) pulley, and the snowthrower specifically says to put on the outer (smaller and therefore slower) pulley. I had (mistakenly) put the belt for my mower on the outer (smaller) one.. and it seemed to work OK, but when I put it on the inner one, it did a MUCH better job....much more thorough and even. You can check the doc for your mower deck, but I am pretty certain they all should go on the inner pulley. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
