Big Block Carburator interchange

I am working on K style 14 horse enjine, It needs a carb. My question is will the carb on a K style 12 horse interchange. I have a chance to buy 12 horse carb if it will infact work as a replacement. Thanks again. Jim

not sure about that,you may have to open the adjustment screw a little more, the 10-12 had a #26 carb and the 14-16 had a #30. i think it will work it just like i said might need more fuel, you can also readjust the float by bending the tabs so it will allow more fuel in the bowl. just my opinion. good luck

The throttle shaft is sloppy on this 14 horse, I found a new bushing and screw kit for it and decided to repair the original. Thanks for the in-put. Jim

I am currently running a K241 (26) carb on my K341 (30). It runs fine. If there is a power difference I can't feel it.

Some 14hp engines came factory with the smaller 26 carb, and others with the 30 carb so yes it will work fine I have them here both ways, both run fine.
