MR49 20 #6 Posted September 25, 2012 He said it wasn't extremely hard to make, using a plasma can and all. I told him that some of you guys were interested. He said he could prolly make some more. Im not sure how much one of these things would cost and he never said. If you guys are really interested shoot me some offers and ill let him know and see what he thinks. Ill have the old cursive words to match tomorrow also. Ill post some pics of that as well.
neil 2,410 #7 Posted September 25, 2012 Those logos are awsome Were they plasma cut buy hand or were they computor guided ? I guess to would need a real steady hand to do it by hand I want one
COMMANDO6 20 #8 Posted September 25, 2012 That would definitely have to be CNC computer controlled. Looks nice, I would buy one if they were mass produced...
Tankman 3,523 #9 Posted September 25, 2012 CNC (computer numerically controlled) lazer does a great job! Looks great and surely Christmas presents for all at Red Square! :)

Jake Kuhn 1,579 #11 Posted September 25, 2012 Very cool! I've cut a few out of wood with our cnc router. I'd sell them, but I don't want to get in trouble with toro so I'm gonna stay away from it. Jake

Jake Pretty sure Toro could care less, Already a ton of people reproducing the image for decals, keychains, shirts ect... Hell there trademark is probably about expired anyways as they have not used it in several years.
CasualObserver 3,411 #13 Posted September 25, 2012 Not quite true Kerry, this tractor is still being produced. This is the display model at Toro Corp headquarters. See whats on the front
whfan74 2,072 #14 Posted September 25, 2012 There will be some of these for sale in the very near future for a affordable price. I will not share who the member is but be prepared when they hit the market, they will go fast. If he wants to chime in on this I will let him. Don't know if he will have any available at my show or not. They are going to be right around the $20 range for one I am guessing........but don't quote me on that. CasualObserver 3,411 #15 Posted September 25, 2012 Ive tried five times to finish what Im saying but my computer is not cooperating, so if theres extra postings now, im sorry. Regardless of opinions of the tractor, the logo is still being used by Toro Sent from my Galaxy Tab using Tapatalk
tunahead72 2,551 #16 Posted September 25, 2012 Looks great and surely Christmas presents for all at Red Square! Agreed! And thanks SO much for offering to pick up the tab! :icecream:
SousaKerry 503 #17 Posted September 25, 2012 I stand corrected, where again are they selling that tractor?? Wonder if I could buy just that hood emblem from Toro.. Oh wait it would probably be like $100, and Glenn sells em for less then $20 :ychain:
MR49 20 #18 Posted September 25, 2012 Well all in all it's gonna be set out to promote there product. I know they don't see it that way but that's how I see it. I personally don't care it's not exact anyways if you notice there is a different edg on one of the lugs on the tire. And the other guys has welcome through the middle. And another thing it's not painted red and black like the logo. To many differances to be gettin in trouble.
MR49 20 #19 Posted September 26, 2012 Here is the rest of it. Gonna look great im my garage! The words I promised. The hole shabang. and the final one. He made me a hitch cover for my truck.
MR49 20 #20 Posted September 27, 2012 I think im gonna paint the logo and just clear coat the words. Does that sound cool? I love the look of metal and would like to leave it that way but man the wheel horse colors are so sweet. What would you do?
neil 2,410 #21 Posted September 27, 2012 what i would do is try & get two sets paint one set and then leave the other set polished metal They would look fantastic if they could be Chrome plated although expensive to do either way you have some great wheelhorse signs They are gonna look awesome on the lounge wall ,, oops i mean garage wall
AMC RULES 37,203 #22 Posted September 27, 2012 Take 'em both down to bare metal, enjoy 'em like that until they develop a nice rust patina, then restore 'em back to factory paint at some point down the road. Use either...paint or powder coat, we then we can debate whether or not they've been over restored. :ychain:
