glgrumpy 35 #1 Posted September 23, 2012 Have hitch but no lift rods. Need the rods and the threaded blocks and plain blocks that go with them. OR, have any idea how to make some? Big holes in arms, 3/4". Figure I could put in a short 3/4 bolt and weld a big nut on the head of it for adjustment threads. Other end (top) could be same, with threads drilled out. I could also make clevis looking ends for below, but above not sure. One problem is the lift and implement bars aren't right over each other, kinda diff than most hitches that are lined up. One more question on the mounting of the lower arms. There are two sets of holes on the main frame. Bottom one won't let the arms go down to floor, upper ones do. I don't see anything in manual about the holes, but pins shown in both holes in parts diagram. What's the deal? Manual is not too informative.
meadowfield 2,545 #2 Posted September 23, 2012 Heres my thread on a scratch built 3 point linkage re: the lift holes, the arms do not need to touch the ground - I use the lower holes and it works great!
