Has anyone ever had a new serial tag made?

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has ever had one of there serial tags remade. I'd like to get a new one for my ranger, but don't know where I could get one at?

Back in May I asked Terry (Vinylguy) about making decals to go over the old tag on my Commando, but he never got back to me. I know he does one for the RJ's, but I still don't know about doing it for others. There is a company over in the UK that reproduces any kind of tag, but it will cost you an arm and a leg.

they are easily doable on the same substrate as the foil, I then stick that onto a piece of aluminum - close enough for me.

I would think that a generic silk screen could be made to paint them like the originals.

Now I am wondering where we get them made at work....Have to do some digging

I have seen these plates and they are very good

like most things, its the initial set up that costs the money , once the set has been done the tags on cost a few bucks

When i spoke to the chap that makes these tags, for a one off job it would cost around $40/50 to set up and then around $20 for the tags there after.
