1960 Suburban Mower Deck Compatability

Gentlemen,

I have my mower deck listed for sale here on Red Square and on St. Louis, Mo Craigs List.

A prospective buyer has asked if it will work on an RJ.

Does anyone know the answer to this question?

You might find your info in files>Top Downloads> left colum and in New Downloads near bottom right..."Attachment Interchangeability Chart" posted by Trouty56. It starts off in '55 i think listing till 2000, Good day.

Post a pic of the deck. If in fact it is a Suburban deck, it will work on a RJ. It will not look correct for an RJ though. There were a couple of different versions of the mower deck during the RJ/Suburban production time frame. All will bolt up and work but will not look the original part.

Sorry about that, I really never look at the classifieds. Yes, that will attach to a RJ and will work. If the buyer is looking for an original RJ deck, the one you have, it is not.

I have forwarded the information to the prospective buyer, but he hasn't said if he wants to buy it or not. Maybe a fellow RedSquare member will buy it instead.
