mrc 956 #1 Posted September 17, 2012 hi guys, i'm cleaning up a 414-8 for mu son-in-law. somewhere i saw a magnum engine with a round air cleaner. i like that look much better than the plastic stock cover. i assume i would need the backing plate too??? its a wide filter (say 2-2.5 inch) anyone have one for sale??? thanks mike in mass. can whlvr 994 #2 Posted September 17, 2012 you will also have to alter the holes that hold the plate to the carb as they are different,i tried to do this with one that didnt come with the plastic cover,ended up buying a new plastic cover for more than i paid for the tractor and deck Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
