Will G 3 #1 Posted September 16, 2012 Not on a Horse but I need some help. I'm helping a buddy of mine get his Sears ST/10 running and the 10 hp cast iron Teccy has no spark. The numbers on the shroud are 143 659012 serial number 5003E. The shroud also states it has solid state ign. so am I correct in guessing it has no points? KATO 115 #2 Posted September 16, 2012 You are correct . it does not have points . It has a module under the flywheel shroud.Part numbers 610906 or 610748 or 610855. There is a member here that is an electrical GURU. (save old iron).
