im still learning some of these myself. but i think thats a 1045.

short frame, big block, round hood style rear fenders, seat etc....

missing the belt guard, and the front tires are different. oh and the exhaust.

Yup 1045 for sure, like Martin said missing correct front tires, they are very hard to find, belt guard is hard to find BUT one can be made by cutting up a small block Kohler belt guard, I see it has a back rest, rummor has it that only 1100 of these were built, but I have 6 of them, and know of a bunch more, they are a combo of 64 and 65 parts, many are 1045 only.

That is one that you will want to try and grab. Like Kelly mentioned, it is kind of a mutt between two years of tractors. Looks like a good candidate to be saved!

How hard to find are 1045s there is one locally in great original unmolested condition and has the belt guard. I might pick it up even though I wont be keeping it. He wants $125 for it.

If indeed it is a 1045, I'd snag it without hesitation!!!! If I had a job/money I'd go get it myself....
