mrc 954 #1 Posted September 5, 2012 hi guys, i've heard there is a tiller lift assist spring??? same as the snowblower lift assist spring??? part number??? i'm also told it hooks to the hole in the angle iron for the rear axle mount but, where does it hook on the tiller??? thank you for any help. mike in mass. Kelly 1,033 #3 Posted September 5, 2012 yes same spring I don't know the part no. off hand, the axle bracket top plate on the left side you substitute the angle iron piece and have the hole to the rear, on the tiller there is a bracket with a eye bolt in it that you hook the other end of the spring to, not all tillers have the bracket, but I have a extra if you need one.
