608KEB 796 #1 Posted August 30, 2012 What kind of lube do I use for PTO? Grease from a grease gun?
rmaynard 16,343 #2 Posted August 30, 2012 The PTO should be lubed with wheel bearing grease, preferably a high temperature grease. No more than about a tablespoon full in the bearing cavity. Excess grease will run out and get on the clutch plate.
