Prater 76 #1 Posted August 29, 2012 I purchased this on Ebay back in February but never opened the box, stupid me...the invoice was not in the box and i cant remember if it stated it was for a c-series tractor or not. It is different than the one I have on my 416 but I dont have that tractor right now to compare. Can someone help me ID this rear quick attach and let me know if it will work with a tiller and front blade on the C series? I will clean it and get a better pic tomorrow. Martin 2,133 #2 Posted August 29, 2012 that looks like the one i have on my 875. different width than a later one i have on my c125. also my 875 one bolts up different to the later style with the large angle running vertical and mounted to the front of the axle instead of horizontal and on the bottom of the axle. i dont know much about these and not really even sure if i am correct in saying thats how they are supposed to be. i bought the 875 with it installed that way...... im sure somebody will correct me if im wrong.... not sure if it will work with a tiller. i use a blade on my 875 and it works fine. Prater 76 #3 Posted August 29, 2012 It is heavy, I will try to get some measurements tomorrow. I am up for a swap if it is for an earlier series tractor. I need one for a blade and tiller on the c-125.
Martin 2,133 #4 Posted August 29, 2012 without getting into it too much, i think from the ipl's below you can see how they mount....... looks like they changed style around 1968..... Blade_Dozer_42in_1968_6-2111_Formerly_BD-4267.pdf Blade_Dozer_42in_1968_6-4111.pdf ive been told that the angle on the top left side of the bracket in this pic is for the tiller to attach in some way.... this is on my c125.... Kelly 1,033 #5 Posted August 29, 2012 That is the old style snow blade mount, it will not work with the newer blades, it is wider and mounts on the outside of the plow frame, it does mount in front of the axle, the later ones are like the one Martin posted, the angle iron for the top plte on the left side has a hole near the rear, that is where the spring for spring asist goes if you have the spring, it is not needed with hyd. lift.
