jhunsch 20 #1 Posted August 28, 2012 Found a good deal on a Wh310-8. Guy was selling for parts for $100, I got it for $40. No starter, no attachments, not even a seat. I have since found a good starter, and plan to get it running. I have an extra deck for it. What I need help with is Finding a clutch lining. It is completely gone. So there’s no way I can engage the mower deck. I am have a hard time find one. I would appreciate any help or links to this part. Even a used lining. Pictures to follow later. rmaynard 16,343 #2 Posted August 28, 2012 If I am not mistaken, the clutch face/plate is still available from Toro, part number 94-6650. Plus there are several new and used ones available on eBay.

jhunsch 20 #4 Posted September 3, 2012 Here is one picture of my $40 parts tractor. Found a starter in a scrap yard for $20. Drained out all the fuel, Removed the carb, cleaned it all up. I found the wrong float in the carb, had a good used one that fit it right. And had to repair the throttle shaft. I made a brass bushing to fit the Carb Body instead of drilling and replacing the shaft, this works very well. I made a Two piece bushing only because I didn't have any large round stock on hand. Took it and hooked it to a tree and ran it thru all the gears. Spins both wheels in all gears. The old Magnum 10 runs really good, 95% smoke free. It's worth the time. . Kelly 1,033 #5 Posted September 3, 2012 There is a seller on ebay selling that bushing with 2 new screws with it for cheap, I bought a few I don't have a way to make them. it is a good cheap fix over buying the new shaft and bushings that you have to drill out the carb body to install, for about $
Tankman 3,523 #6 Posted September 8, 2012 Great deal, forty bucks! I wouldn't pass that up. Last deal I made, $300, and did come with a footlocker of spare Kohler parts (original boxes). Picked up a high back seat ($5.00) at the junque yard, removed Simplicity decal (heat gun), painted the steel and vinyl (pvc whatever) with Rustoleum gloss black enamel, added a WH decal on the back. Looks like new. Thank goodness, I'm usin' the Stallion daily. The Horse is runnin', mowed the lawn today. Post a pic (pic's) of your restore project.
