312-8 belt details required

Hi,

My dad has a Wheelhorse 312-8 and is looking for the details of two parts:

One of the belts needs replacing, as it has snapped. It is the one going around the pulleys and to the 2 side blades. I believe it is the part labelled 1 in the following diagram that I found on the net:

The only plate I have found on the mower says ID number: E1-12k801 27398

It is a 42" cut width with side discharge.

I'm looking for a part number or specification for this belt. Can anyone help?

I’m also looking for a relay. It has a number 1898 on it (Also 12V on it). Does anyone know where I can find this part? I’m based in Ireland so would need somewhere local, or who would post here.

I've checked the Toro website, but cant seem to find either of the required parts.

im not sure if the belts changed over the years or not for the 42" sd deck but 6738 is the correct belt for the late 60s and mid 70s decks....

the model number you quoted is for your tractor, not the deck. the deck would be something like E5-42MS05....

edit: i just found this manual, should have all the info you need for your deck.

and 6738 is the belt you need........
