darren 49 #1 Posted July 31, 2012 I've been chatting to a collector here in the UK, who's downsizing his collection (and what a great collection it is) Several parts were listed in an onine auction, one recently being a pretty tidy 36" RD deck- tidy but not NOS kind of condition. I was curious to see what it would go for so kept an eye on it and could hardly believe the final bid: an eye-watering $972! Somebody must have wanted that pretty badly! CasualObserver 3,411 #3 Posted July 31, 2012 Well that's good news for your collector friend! I can't imagine the size of the smile on his face when the final seconds clicked off. The crazy part is that it takes TWO bidders to get that high!
meadowfield 2,754 #4 Posted July 31, 2012 nutters! I bet it gets relisted.... almost as bad as the 42" snow plow that went for £700 last year
Anglo Traction 761 #5 Posted July 31, 2012 Maybe I'll put mine up for auction when it's done...just to see if the other failed bidders still want one for a similar price!.
meadowfield 2,754 #6 Posted July 31, 2012 hmmm, I was a bit slow - I can see a 36" RD deck in the garden... could be a plan! :ychain:

AMC RULES 37,196 #8 Posted July 31, 2012 Just because it ended at that price, doesn't mean he'll get paid that price.
