can i turn the mechanical fuel pump up at all on it if not theres a holly black with my name on it

Turning up fuel pumps is normally associated with a diesel engine and would probably only cause leakage/spillage of gasoline in this case.

At least you haven't mentioned installing a powerband from a Suzuki Hayabusa. :eusa-whistle:

No you cannot. Turing it uo will not give you more HP. On a diesel it will with the proper increase in air along with it.

The stock mechanical fuel pumps should be able to supply all the fuel volume the engine can realisically handle under load. On tractors with the fuel tanks under the hood with gravity feed the Kohler engines barely even need the fuel pump. If the mechanical pump can't keep up with a modified engine in an extreme pulling condition, you'll need to go with a higher volume electric pump. There are no adjustments for volume or pressure on the stock mechanical pumps.

my motor hesitates under acceleration and at full throttle i can turn the choke up and it runs high. it has a make shift turbo and im looking for a 16hp carb.
