ok a person my mom works for has a 1999 314-8 and his truck has an exhuast problem and he said if me and my dad fixed it we could have it but we have to buy the exhaust for him it i 40 dollars and i was just wondering what the tractor is worth it has no atachments and the silinoid does not work so do you think it i a good idea or not i will have oics tomorrow

your typing is a little scattered at the money point,is that 140 dollars for the exhaust,if so i would ****** up that deal in a milli second,even if you had to work for several hours to fix the truck ,the solinoid is very inexpensive,you can bypass it with a booster cable to see if the machine runs,a 1999 in decent shape has gotta to be worth 500 bucks,at least where im from,actually people would ask more

A 1999 314-8 for $40 and a few hours work. Grab it. It's probably a safety switch that went bad. There's one on ths shift lever to sense neutral. They break often. Or the pin it attaches to. I had a 2000 that happened to. In 2001 I went to buy a WH new it was just over $5000 plus mower deck, i didnt buy one until years later.

If it runs at all thats a steal.

well today i got it and it had a full tank of good gas in it he had a new battery for it and we had to charge the battery and it started right up and i mower with it today and did not smoke at start up or any time at all and it has 789 hours on it but for 23 dollars and some lador it was a really good turn ouy and also today i got a wheel horse trailer to for free yahoooooo i will have pics tommorow of both
