Rooney 5 #13 Posted March 25, 2013 Looking to change the hydrostatic transmission oil. Reverse is weak, forward is fine. Is regular 10w-30 OK?

Wheel-N-It 2,967 #15 Posted March 26, 2013 Looking to change the hydrostatic transmission oil. Reverse is weak, forward is fine. Is regular 10w-30 OK? You should post this question in the Transmissions and Tranaxles section of the forum. Go with the synthetic 10w-30w to better take the heat. I was advised to use Mobile 1 when I bought my 417, and that is what I use. Also your hydro might need a linkage adjustment. DW, since you are still checking this thread, let me say I really like your C-195.
