The worth of an electric wheel horse

Hi all,

This weekend I spied an old wheel horse tractor, which I did not immediately recognize – partly because of its rusty condition … and mostly because it was one of those big electric models (Mower deck too).

I was wondering – were these things worth having? It’s a pretty big machine and it looks well made, but still - changing out the batteries must have made this machine… costly ? ( or cost effective / impractical / fragile ? )

Anybody out there - have any comments on these machines?

Not sure of its worth but Batt. are not cheap bought recondition ones for mine they were about $40 each new about $140 each. I know a guy that still mowing with one

Anybody know of good electric models for sale?  Did they run the same attachments as a classic design?  I am an avid EV'er.
