I'm looking for a rear bagger to put on my 416. Anyone have one for sell or know where I could find one?

I have a 42In and a 48 Inch Deck

Not sure about the 42, but for the 48 deck Wheel Horse used a belt-driven impeller that mounted to the chute of the deck for the bagging system. It ran from a double groove pulley on the outer spindle.

The 37-inch deck had high lift, so it didn't really need extra "push" to move clippings to the bag. I don't know whether the 48 actually NEEDED any help, but I'm almost certain the 42 would. There were some blades made with bolt-on tabs to provide extra lift, but I've only seen them for the 37-inch decks. Not sure if they were made for others or not.

IF the 48 deck can produce enough lift to push the clippings, the only thing you'll need to convert the 37 bagger to the 48 is a chute adapter. They can be fabbed (probably better for a specific deck) or purchased. There was a company called PECO that made them years ago.

Good luck!

420-LSE

I just read in another post from Pollack Pete that he has a vacuum bagger that might be for sale soon. The vacuum baggers work on the 42 and 48 SD's. Everything is the same other than the size of the pulley that goes on the outside spindle for the blower belt.
