I have the oppertunity to buy a 1978 wheel horse 12 hp tractor with blower and tiller attachments.

I need to know if these attachments will work on my 1994 312-8.

the asking price is $600 and I think I am going to take a ride and look at these tonight.

As long as the '78 is a C series horizontal shaft garden tractor, they should fit your 312.

I think its a c-121, but what other 12hp garden tractors did wheel horse make in 78?

Yeah - it's called " 'Horse-itis!" Pretty common around here; highly contagious but generally not hazardous except maybe to the wallet!

Not cureable, but you need to take a RedSquare every 4 hours. If symptoms persist you may increase to every 2 hours. Keep increasing until symptoms are under control... B)

Be very very careful though. Horse itis when caught by the female species can be very dangerous. It presents with symptoms of UPWS (unpleasant wife syndrome). To date there is no common cure, just some short term remedies.

I did not get the 78 wheel horse. I acted within hours of the add being placed but I couldnt get anyone to return my calls. finally someone called me back and told me they sold it.

I am sad...the horse that got away!

guess I will keep looking for a tiller and snowblower either attached to a WH or that will fit my 1994 312-8.
