lookin for a model 520 front axle for my c-175 with loader.

I broke my front axle spindle and now would love to put a model 520 front axle with spindles on her.Does anyone have a front axle and spindles.I think i would need also the front tires and tie rods can anyone help me thanks

The early 520HC and 1990-91 had regular steering with the forward swept axle however I wouldn't recommend it.

Nothing that I know other than it is a very hard steering with any weight. I only experienced one that I went to look at before my 2nd 520H. It was a 1990 520H with a 60" deck. Talk about strong arm steering, I couldn't handle it, especially being spoiled with gear reduction.

I found out that that spindles on the tractor were special ordered to carry the front loader and so far no luck finding them.I just want to put it back together so I can sell this tractor I have no more need for it now.BAER how much are you lookin to get for it and if i'm not mistakin I think the front rims are different size spindle holes so I would need those also.I wounder if kelly has anything laying around.

Complete axle with the reduction steering tires and rims are still on it. It's still on the tractor. Last 520 that I'm parting for now. $500 complete tractor

Craig, the only difference between the 1990 and the 91 and later models was the 2-1 gear assembly otherwise all other components of the steering were the same...heavier tie rods etc. I had a 1990 for a few years. As you know from the post you added to this one I did the front axle conversion and I love it. Some people have complained about the "play" in the gears but mine if fine. Perhaps as the hours pile up it happens with wear, don't know.
