How do u adjust the float. When I push the float in the loader just goes down and lifts the front of the tractor up.

I know this may sound like a stupid question but are you getting the spool pushed all the way? Can you feel the spool actually go into the float position? It should kind pop into position and stay there. If not you may have a blockage in the spool passage. Sometimes they do get worn and will not stay put. You do have to make sure it is getting into the float position on the spool.

Ha that is a good question!!! But no The spool is pushed in and locks into the float position. When in the loader just pushes down lifting the front of the tractor up. so something is putting pressure in the line not letting the cylinders float freely. I was wondering if there is an adjustment for the float valve to adjust the pressure?

When I had mine apart I didn't remember seeing a float adj. The float is just a bypass in the spool on mine. you might have a worn spool or a bad o-ring letting the fluid back into the pressure down side of the spool. The only adj, if I remember on mine was the relief or pressure adjustment. I am by no means a hydro mechanic. I do some of my own hydro work on are farm equipment but that's about it. The valve control on my Ark is the original and is very basic. Pull the spool out of the valve body and take a look to see if the o-rings are trashed or you have any foreign material in there and look for corrosion.
