chevyaddict83 39 #1 Posted July 2, 2012 Good evening- Been lurking the forums for awhile, time to finally pipe up. Just got my hands on my first wheelhorse, the 208-3. Has a rough idle, and I could use some advice. Also, the mowing deck is small. Any way of fitting a larger one on the machine? Thanks for your time.

zieg72 209 #3 Posted July 5, 2012 Welcome from NW Indiana. Rough idle is usually a dirty carburetor, Sometimes it is just a dirty air filter and or pre-filter or slightly out of adjustment. I am sure others will chime in.
chevyaddict83 39 #4 Posted July 5, 2012 Thanks zieg. I appreciate the welcome, and the wealth of knowledge everyone brings to the table. I should have been a little more specific. I need help with the actual teardown of the Carb.
Foozerush 40 #5 Posted July 5, 2012 Welcome to RS!! Personally I don't know if a larger deck would fit. I'm sure an expert will chime in on that. If there is no option of a larger deck, maybe upgrade to 300-400 series with more deck options. Anyways clean that carb real good, fresh plug is always good, check fuel lines and tank, and fuel filter. Hope this helps!!
