Muffler for a C-111

Recommended Posts

theherd

Alright I'm new to this website and fairly new to Wheel Horse tractors. I am currently working on a C-111 Wheel Horse and it has an aftermarket exhaust on it. I went to look for a new one and they are discontinued. I would need everything from the block to the muffler, does anyone know where I can find a used muffler for this model? I know this model was only made one year and it has the briggs single cylinder engine. Any help would be great.

Thanks Guys,

Ben

Ok the lack of response to my post tell me that not too many know where to find a used exhaust. I have been on parts tree's web site and I'm wondering if the exhaust for the C-101, C-121, C-141, C-161 will work on a C-111. It says it won't be but a little light fabrication to make it fit i'll buy it.

Thanks

Go into our vendors section and send a message to Kelly. He has all sorts of used stuff for sale. Being a one year model might make it much harder to find as you can see by the response.

Good luck.

On my C-111 the factory exhaust was long gone before I got it and the muffler was just a standard Briggs muffler. When it needed replacing last fall I just bought the same muffler kit (691874) from the local Briggs dealer. Make sure to get the 795036 exhaust deflector to deflect the exhaust away from the hood.

I have a few WH mufflers none off a briggs C111, but if I seen a pic of what your looking for, I have a nice stack of mufflers I'm not sure what they are for, that came from a dealer buy out.

Thanks guys for the responses. According to parts tree, the part number is 108072 for the exhaust and the nipple is 102265. But it looks like the exhaust from c-101, c-121, c-141, c-161 which is part number 106918 would work. I have attached the link to the page from parts tree that you can see what it would look like.

Thanks,

Ben

I have a muffler from a C-1x1 if you think it will work, but the parts tree listing says you need a different part no.

I replaced the exaust on my C-111 with the B&S muffler and a louver adapter to turn the exaust to the side. The threads in the block were boogered up and oversize. Works fine, and just as quiet...

Sorry guys i've been a little busy with work. Rick there's an aftermarket muffler on there now but the thing is so loud. Two black 1" 45's and the round muffler is what is on there now. I'm thinking I don't have the back pressure on the engine to quiet it down. Kelly do you have a picture of your muffler?
