Show Pics from 2012 PA show...????

A few days before the big Wheel Horse show in Penn. there was a post encouraging everyone who planned to take pictures and then share them with other members...

...to use the GALLERY, in the SHOW ALBUM, where the new site "2012 Wheel Horse Collectors Show" was created just for those photos.

Seems as though at least one member (thanks Scott !) beside myself thought it was a good idea.

Would have really been neat if all the pics could have been in one location...easy to find and enjoy by Wheel Horse fans far into the future.

I've already "lost" most of the individual collections.

Yes, I remember seeing the post prior to the "Big Show" and was looking forward to seeing all the pictures.

I still looked at everyones photos and I did enjoy them, but would have been nice to have them all in one place.

Sometimes old habits are hard to break. I rarely use or visit the gallery, so I wouldn't even think to put show pictures there. I would post them under Wheel Horse Collectors Club section. That seems to be the more logical place to put things related to the show, including pictures.

that sucks for people who have dail up to have all the pic's in one spot I could tick on it and go to work for nine hours and maybe just maybe they would all be loaded up when I get home

Actually your dialup logic is backwards, you want them in the Gallery so you can pull them up one at a time. If you have 50 in a single topic ALL 50 have to load through dialup instead of 1 and some thumbnails. And if you have 10 topics, you'll spend your whole day there. I have enabled the comment section in the show picture gallery so EACH individual picture can be commented on instead of getting lost in a thread. Same applies for the cell phone users.

And the gallery can do a slideshow so you can sit back and view all the pictures. I can't force everyone to use the gallery, but if it were used it would be a whole lot nicer to see the 2012 WHCC show!

problem with that Karl is they all have to load up in the gallery before I can pick one to click on and wait for that too load up

If you're on dialup, try the mobile skin. Only thumbnails are loading where as in a post the full size is loading.

Bob, I'm really surprised to see that you rarely use or visit the gallery. I think it's the easiest to use, best organized, and one of the most impressive features of the "NEW" Red Square. The GALLERY, together with the new CLASSIFIED, are usually the first two clicks I make when logging on . And the feature which allows us to block the posts of individual members is also great.
