Maybe an 855.....has some additions added to it that aren't original to the tractor.

Looks like a later 60's, or so, (67ish) but I am not real good with the identification on that era. I can't recall any with the gas cap hole in the hood, like that. May be a aftermarket tank in it. Looks good, though.

It's a bunch of parts, it is a short frame tractor from 65 to 67 the short frames in 68and 69 had wide fenders and the belt guard in 67 up did not have the indent for the model no, they had the model no on the hood or tank tray, the 2 spoke wheel was not used in 68 up also the engine is a newer gear drive starter engine, they must have the batt. under the fender I don't even see the batt, tray, it will not fit in the stock location anyway with the gear drive starter, the seat and spring is not correct, it looks like a standard tucky gas tank maybe from a orig. tucky engine, that they cut the hood for, rear tires are kinda cool, front look like wheelborrow tires, if it runs good I'd say it's a $300 tractor unless you want it bad.

Thank you very much for the details everyone! I don't know much about WH's but LOVE the look of the older round nose models.... they are just a little hard to find so I'm considering other options. I just missed a really nice all original '67 lawn ranger but here is another that I'm looking at:

I would prefer something that has not be restored but again, the pickings are pretty slim around here...

To me that is a better deal, a little high priced but a better tractor even with the tucky engine.
