Docwheelhorse 2,740 #1 Posted June 25, 2012 Hello All, Another great time at another great show in the books.... already can't wait to see you guys next year! Most of you already know I'm a Briggs and Stratton fan---yah I know..... I can hear the sighs from here! Anyways--I get a call while I'm at the show that an ex Toro Wheel Horse dealer (Still handles Toro push mowers and snow throwers..) I deal with got in a GT1100 with a deck and that he wants to dump it for $50. I buy it sight un-seen and figure it is a pile of wreckage that I bought for parts. A fellow Redsquare member that couldn't go dropped it off at my house.... I got up this morning and took a walk to have a look and was very pleasantlly greeted by this tractor... it gave me the sad puppy dog that needs a home look and it was love at first sight! It looks like the motor has accorns and a mouse condo in it.... I will get it running and I think shes yet another keeper! wooooooooo hoooooooooooooo!!!! Briggs power !!!!

Ken B 3,189 #4 Posted June 25, 2012 Oh man then you really scored. For some reason I was thinking you paid 100! LOL! There is a total bad azz Work Horse that iis always at the show. I believe the guy comes from Canada. This yr. during the daytime parade he was pulling a Wheel Horse snow mobile with it. It is one of my sons and my favorite tractors at the show. I'm positive others know the tractor I'm talking about and someone must have a picture of it.

Yep, so bada$$ I had to snap a couple picts of it, notice it's signed by Cecil on the rear fender pan too. Sounded pretty heavily modified when he burped the throttle. Buckrancher captured it in Fridays mid day parade pulling the sled in his photos too.
Kelly 1,033 #7 Posted June 25, 2012 I'd buy them all day for $50 that look like that, but is the front axle green? I have a few with green tires and frames a little moss stuff growing on them.

I saw this one up close and I bet it just needs a good power-wash-bath and some fresh gas and a battery and it'll fire right off. I really like look of the gray machines. Mine started out life with the Briggs 16 twin but has a Kohler 10 Mag now. Mike...........

I saw that pic of it pulling the sled too and that is a good looking machine. I was never a big fan of those until I saw a restored one on Ebay a couple months back. The guy did an awesome job, it looked like a NOS machine. They sure do look nice all cleaned up.

varosd 1,185 #13 Posted June 25, 2012 I think it looks cool! I bet 20 yrs from now, a lot of us will be wishing we had saved every WheelHorse! to include little rear engines, "A" series with Briggs, "200" series etc that we bypass at this time. We have to rememeber that there is only a finite number of this machines and no more coming off the line..or the parts to repair them.
