Got a little restless today, and got involved in a little project.

Allrighty...I admit....the handy work isn't mine.

We are expanding one of the buildings at our shop, and I couldn't resist the photo op.

Pretty awesome to see the right equipment in action. They have a vibrating roller to matt it all down, 6inches at a time. When it's in action, we can't machine parts in the buiding, as the whole earth shakes. (machinist by trade).

Nice,

I worked in a shop once that had a huge Ingersol Rand reciprocating air compressor I think it was like 150 HP. Fortunately it was a backup but when it did wun we couldn't hold tolerance on any of the CNC lathes better then about .002"

Where I work now has 6, 200 HP Joy compressors (yeah we use a tremendous amount of air) you can feel the vibration out in the parking lot some days.

Dam!! 6 of them?? :omg: We just got a new replacement, and you can hardly hear ir run. It's just as big as a verticle.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I made the 854 into a plow machine, and didn't get to use it this winter....at all!! :*****:

The tractor does look good and the pic reminded me of a house set to move over the weekend. The house was up in the air and on the road tires and the guy who owned it hooked his Farmall Cub to the front. As we drove by my wife says "can they really move that house with that little tractor" I told her yes, and the following day she seen the road tractor hooked to it and couldn't wait to get home to tell me I was wrong. She still don't belive I was messing with her when I said yes.

How much weight do you have on the rear wheels, looks like weights inside and out. Thoes front weights look heavy too.

Thanks again guys. It has weights on the inside and outside of the back rims, front rim weights, and I tucked a 100lb stack of steel under the frame, just under the motor. (painted it black so it's hard to see) She weighs about 750lbs w/o me on it. Pushes snow like a beast. I jacked the seat up a little, and it feels like a bigger tractor than what is.
