MarkPalmer 81 #1 Posted June 20, 2012 My original fixed length tie rods for my 867 are worn out, so I'm replacing them with a pair of adjustable aftermarket ones from Stens. Question is which end should I put the adjutment side of the rod on- at the spindles or up on the steering rod? I don't think it matters adjustment or operation wise, but any advantages to one way or the other? -Mark-

JackC 617 #3 Posted June 21, 2012 Most people seem to put the adjustable end on the outside but If you put the adjustable end on the inside wouldn't it look more like the original tie rod?
Kelly 1,033 #4 Posted June 21, 2012 Most times I put them on the outside just easier to adjust that way, but yes they would look at first glance more correct the other way.
