mrocket49 23 #2 Posted June 17, 2012 It could be the spindles where the wheel bearings ride on it. On mine, when they get worn, I build up some arc welding in the spots and then grind it back to round. It also could be the bronze bushing located at the lower steering shaft. They are easily replaced and tighten up the steering nicely. It could be the tie rod ends. They are replaceable as well. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
can whlvr 994 #3 Posted June 18, 2012 great advice by mrocket,you can also add shim washers to the fan gear shaft under the fan gear where it meets ths column gear,it gets loose in there and a 3/4 washer(usually need the thinner ones i call shims)or 2 helps,but the most is usually the tie rods them selves,new ones make a big difference Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
