Update on search for stop button for the RJ35

I saw on Ebay a few months ago that someone had reproduced the stop buttons for the RJ35s. They only listed one for sale and it sold for good money. There has never been another one listed yet. My guess is we will see them at the show for big dollars. The Ebay thing probably was just a feeler to see what the market would bear (very smart if this is true!). In the mean time I have exhausted all my sources to find the exact switch. I figured I would just make my own bezel and just find something close and be done with it.

I stopped at Harbor Freight today to pick up a few things. I usually cruise all the isles and see if there is anything I need before I leave. In a section near the car stuff I found a switch/button that caught my eye. It was on clearance to boot for $2.97. I bought the only two they had. It fits perfect in the hole. I now have the dimension for the bezel and will reproduce it out of aluminum.

Since the button is red and it should be black, I am using Mike's RJ idea and going with the VHT black die. I already have a can from when I restored some other plastic dash panels.

It isn't eaxct but close enough for me!
