Sparky-(Admin) 23,277 #14 Posted June 14, 2012 Awesome! I like how the entire tread area sits flat on the ground. You wouldnt get that if they had been mounted on skinnier rims. Mike.............

luvmyWH 4 #21 Posted June 15, 2012 ok i went outside and measured them and from where the bead sits its 8.5 ad probably another inch to the very outside of the rim.
can whlvr 994 #22 Posted June 15, 2012 i thought 520,s had the wider rims from factory but not positive
Foozerush 40 #23 Posted June 15, 2012 I want a set for my 416-8!!!! Those look great on your 520!! Good deal you got there!!!
Kelly 1,033 #24 Posted June 15, 2012 The 520's from about 90 up all had the 8.5" wide rims, all the 520HC's had the wide rims, some others also had the wide rims, I've found them on 417's and the work horses with the twin briggs. They look very nice on there and the fit on the rim is spot on. Oh and when measuring rims you go from inside of the rim bead to inside on the other side, you can do it with the tires on, but you have to make a educated guess on what the rim is, knowing the factory rim sizes helps.
