rmaynard 16,363 #3 Posted June 12, 2012 If you are looking for an original seat, good luck. I have been looking for 6 months. As far as a decent replacement, I use the Michigan Seat V-3500 from Northern Tool.
SousaKerry 503 #4 Posted June 12, 2012 Ya know it's funny that Northern tool still calls it Michigan Seat, that factory is down the road from me and it hasn't been called that in probably 5 years. One of these days I am gonna work up the nerve to go in there and ask them if they still have the tooling for the WH seats and how much it would cost to get a run of them made. BTW if you still have the metal seat pan you can get a TSC seat cover to fit it with some stretching and they look fairly decent. I know that a few people have had copies made at upholstery shops. MarkPalmer 81 #5 Posted June 12, 2012 I'm going to swing by TSC on my way home from work and check out the low back seat to replace the original on my 867 that is unfortunately so nasty I don't even want to touch it none the less sit on it. From the picture, the TSC seat looks close enough for rock-and-roll without spending a fortune for a tractor that is going to be more a worker-bee not so much for show. COMMANDO6 20 #6 Posted June 12, 2012 I actually just bought the 2780004 seat from there yesterday. My TSC didn't have that low back one. Even though it doesn't look right, I like the seat I bought.
