Riley088 63 #1 Posted June 11, 2012 After work I went and helped my parents mow the grange they belong to in Burlington CT. They asked if I could mow it since it has not been done all year. I had a few choices of tractors to bring. My Massey Furgeson GC 2400 I knew would handle easliy. I also thought about bringing out the Charger 10 with the sickle bar. After thinking about it I said why not Old Faithful. She never lets me down and I knew today would not be the day. She's a C-121 always ready to go. Or in this case hay.

bowtiebutler956 650 #5 Posted June 11, 2012 Now that was some serious grass cutting! I'm thinking "Old Faithful" is a well earned title. Matt :flags-texas:

3609horse 27 #11 Posted June 12, 2012 Your tractor made it look easy, I told a friend I would take care of a few acres for her since her machine is broken and the grass is quite tall, I hope not that tall I only have 8hp . Not sure if I can do it but I couldn't pass up the chance to try, Gene...
Ken B 3,189 #12 Posted June 12, 2012 Very nice Nate! I agree with the others about picture # 1, nice camera work. That is very cool that you have a place where you can put your tractors to some serious use. I would LOVE to run my 520 thru some thick tall grass like that! CasualObserver 3,411 #16 Posted June 14, 2012 I also thought about bringing out the Charger 10 with the sickle bar. Old Faithful or not, I wouldn't have passed up the chance to use a sickle! That's exactly the work it's made for. Glad you had fun and got some cool pictures, but I would have chosen differently!
