1968 Raider question?

Did the 1968 Raider 10 have a tecumseh or kohler engine? KB

in my 2 lists there is no raider 10 in 68,a raider 9 that is rated for 10 hp and is a teccy,and the later models of the raider 10 are also teccys,but im not an expert of this era and am only using a list,it seems that the 12,s were kohlers and the 10,s teccys

im with can. i think raider 10 started in 70. the raider 9 had a 10 hp tecky, hh100. 6 speed rear. heres mine.

1968 Raider 9 or 10 Should have a Tecumseh HH-100. They began the year being produced as Raider 9 and late year they started using the 10 decals. Same goes for the 1968 Charger 9 and 10 as well.

I have a 1968 Raider 9 by model number and it has a 10 hp. Tecumseh. But the decals say Raider 10. So you never what you have until you have the model plate I guess. Here's mine.

My 68 Raider 10 by the decal on the tank stand had a HH100 with a broken rod, now it has a Kohler 12hp.

I have a 1969 Raider 12, Identical to the one in this pic, and it has a 12 HP Kohler. See my Avatar picture that's my '69

The 12 hp Raiders/Chargers are Kohlers, I know WH used a 12hp Tecumseh in the C-120 at one point, but not sure on other models.

My Raider 12, also a '68, has a Kohler engine and, I thrilled with it.

I forgot what my older Horses had for engines but, all worked hard and well.
