kthack657 328 #1 Posted June 9, 2012 So I come home from work last sunday to Jim asking me if we could take a road trip...the only problem was we did not know if we were getting the item. I said sure and the negotiations began, where was the item at, condidion ect. I thought for sure that others would swipe this item up in a heart beat, the price was right and the condition was better than others Ive seen. Yes I know I havent said what we took this road trip for...it was a Wheel Horse 4 Wheel wagon. Jim has wanted one for almost a year now, and where we had 2 within our grasp, we did not get either of them. So Jim talked to the gentleman Gene (AKA 3609horse) who said he would come down to CT which was 50 miles (A HUGE help.) so we got on the road at 8:00am and made the 4 hour trip. The wagon is in great shape, it needs tires, but it has the tailgate, and all of the sheet metal is straight, not to mention the minimal rust. so without further comment, here are the pics! I cannot believe all the nice people I have had the good fortune to meet since I got involved in Red Square. It was great to meet two more today, I would have liked to spend more time talking tractors but you had a long ride home. Hope to see pictures of the wagon when you get it done, and I hope you have a great time at the show, Thanks
kthack657 328 #10 Posted June 10, 2012 Thank you Gene for the warm wishes, I have to agree with you about the people on Redsquare, I have never had the honor of getting to know so many nice people. We made it home in about 4.5 hours between traffic and stopping for a bite to eat. The cart probably will noy be restored till next year, but it willbe at the big show in PA and we will be taking a lot of pictures...as long as we remember the camera while we are out on the show field. Maybe we will be able to make it to a show in CT next year!!
