Question about gear drive decks.

Would a RD deck off of say an 857 or commando fit on a 64 704? I see a lot more of these come up and I'm wanting to maybe pick up a spare deck at the show this year! :banana-wrench:

I have one on my 857 and am in NEED of blades for it. I looked on eBay and also called my local toro dealer with no success. Can anyone steer me in the right direction or do I need to be looking for a newer tractor???

Deck should fit but I am far from an expert on these.

I'm 99% sure all the gear drive decks (they made 32" and 36") will work for you, except the ones for the mid engine tractors, I'm sure you knew that but I had to add it.

Even the ranger deck and rear engine rider decks will fit if you swap the hangers on them.
