Hello! I’m new to the forums here I’m Mark from Erie, PA. I’ve enjoyed using and working on lawn/garden tractors for about 30 years, and have restored several Cub Cadets, and a fully reconditioned 1981 Cub 682 is the current workhorse for my yard. I have a new toy coming my way this weekend- a 1967 Wheel Horse T-867 that I have to trailer from West Middlesex PA to Erie. It is my father in law’s, he decided to give it to me as he knows I will give it a good home and he hasn’t used it for several years. I got a good look at it this weekend, and save for needing a thorough cleaning it’s in very nice shape with no major damage anywhere, he took good care of this machine, even the paint will shine up nice with some wax. It has a small, perhaps 32†mower deck and a front plowing blade, both also in very good condition. He also has all the manuals and paperwork for the tractor as he is the original owner. Needless to say I’m ecstatic about getting this tractor and very eager to dig in to this project. The only information I was given was the K-181 Kohler does not run and he suspected that it needs to be rebuilt as it has never been in the past. I did a quick check and it has spark and compression out the hole, so not likely any major damage and at the very least the engine should be rebuild-able if needed. It has several gas and oil leaks from seals and gaskets as to be expected but that stuff is no sweat for me. I’ll post some pictures when it gets home :)

Welome to the forum. I am somewhat of a Cub Cadet guy too. I have a 1975 model 1650. Its a brute but the K341 is tired and I am taking it in tomorrow for a complete rebuild. You will like WheelHorses. Congragulations on getting your first one.
