redhorse100 4 #1 Posted May 22, 2012 hi i just picked up a 310-8 a couple days ago. didnot get to check out alot yet but hear is my problem. the tires are cracked bad and need to be replaced. went outside today to check something on horse and the front tires are touching the axle and the tab the tie rods attach to. no space. on the inside of tire. maybe low on air horse sat awhile but it is touching. wh rolls but no space. could these be the wrong rims or is there suppose to spacers there. the guy owned this for five years and told me he never changed anything. and help thanks joe this is the same on both sides???? redhorse100 4 #4 Posted May 22, 2012 thanks guys i think the air valves are on the outside and maybe the are on backwards its raining out now but will check it out tomorrow. i am fairly new to the wheel horse hobby. city boy who thru forced retirement from truck accident now in country in pa liked wheel horse and made a lot of mistakes and paid to much for parts and horses last year. but have learned a lot. and this site is the best. unlike another site i joined last year dont want to talk about brand x site but you guys and this site have been very helpfull thanks joe will check out the wheels tomorrow.. Road-Track 39 #5 Posted May 24, 2012 That's part of the fun. These tractors were made to be understood and repairable by the owner, not planned obsolescence and thrown away like most things today . Learning Wheelhorse language can be painful at times, but when you are using them for work or what I call play it's all worth it. We are all glad to help with any question.
