Thanks guys. The sweeper was at a local X Wheel Horse dealer and purchased for $25.00...no bad.

Yup, that is a replacement engine thanks to a member. Bought it from Harbor Freight and fits perfect after removing the gas tank and a few other minor adjustments. Exhaust pipe needed a flange and small turn out welded on.

Weights are all laser cut out of 1/2" steel to simulate IH front case weights. There is 110 extra pounds on the front and mount directly to the dozer blade bracket. Used a long bolt to secure them. Works great. Can get the weights cut if anyone is interested. They are 10 pounds each and cost $200.00 for 10 plus shipping. DId weld an extra piece of steel on the top side of the bracket across the frame. No more wheelies.

I use my 704 for sweeping duty every week. Those round hoods with their maneuverability make for awesome yard tugs.

Nice looking machine you have there! I have several of the little greyhound engine on my kid's buggies, they start really easy, and are very reliable.

Yeah, they do turn very good....well when you add some weight. Going up a hill with this thing pulling the sweeper...won't turn at all.

Those Greyhound motors are nice. Only problem I had was forgetting to turn off the gas and the dern oil safety. Filled the whole engine full of gas and had to drain the oil. Engine kept dieing when going up a hill and discovered the safety was shutting it down. Wasn't a fun day. OH well, got it running like a champ now.

Thanks for the compliments.
