Pilot78 7 #1 Posted May 21, 2012 I added a few more horses to the hangar over this past week. I found a 702 and a 552 for parts and then I dug a 603 out of the weeds of Wyoming this past weekend. The 603 was the right price but I had to drive several hours to get it but it came with several attachments. I think the only attachment I will keep will be the plow for pushing snow, I can't see using the rest at an airport. I saw a gallery pics of someone's 753 with dual tires and dual mufflers. That was a beautiful machine.... I would like to see it I can piece together something like that. I just need a hood for either the 702 or 552. Attached are pics of my part horses, the 603 and my keeper the RJ58. Brian SLC-UT

AMC RULES 37,211 #3 Posted May 21, 2012 I really like the RJ, but not a big fan of the funky colored ones though. What is the big attraction to repainting all our tractors green anyway? :scratchead:
boovuc 1,090 #4 Posted May 21, 2012 Never saw a 4 blade setup like the deck that is pictured. That deck is new to my WH knowledge.

Kelly 1,033 #6 Posted May 21, 2012 The red tractor in the first pic is not a 702, it probably is a 753 if you study the 552 frame, steering and front axle you will easily see the difference between the 62 models and the 63 ones, also study the area on the dash tower where the lift arm is mounted on the two tractors, now the 603 does not count it was built with 62 steering and front axle. Looks like you building a nice collection of round hood projects.
bowtiebutler956 650 #7 Posted May 21, 2012 Nice find! They all look like keepers to me, but thats because I've never even seen one down here! Matt :flags-texas:

312Hydro 474 #9 Posted May 21, 2012 Nice group of tractors! I think the 603 must be made of copper as it has a nice green patina from the weather. :)

clintonnut 126 #11 Posted May 22, 2012 That deck is magnesium. Not wheel horse but was a small walk behind that had a vertical shaft briggs and stratton on it. We used to have one. Dont remember the brand though...
