Forest Road 594 #2 Posted May 21, 2012 You can go with the 8" combo. The front end willl just sit a little higher. It doesn't affect anything.

Kelly 1,033 #4 Posted May 21, 2012 The 8" rims will fit your tall spindles but will make the front set higher, it will make your deck set at a angle not sure there is enough adjustment to make up for it, I have the correct shorter spindles and should have rims if you are looking send me a PM. can whlvr 994 #5 Posted May 22, 2012 depends on what rears you run,if you keep the 22 on you can go without spindles,if you have the 23,s you need to swap the spindles,at least with my conversions on my 300 series, but i would do the spindles too,the shorter ones are nice to have
kpinnc 14,694 #6 Posted May 22, 2012 You won't have to adjust anything. I've mowed with 3 different decks with my 310 and the 8-inch wheels. I've had no problems or changes in cutting performance at all. The 37-inch SD deck is the only one that will give you problems, which was the reason they used 6-inch wheels with the older 300-series to begin with. On a tight turn the left wheel rubs the deck, and can bind up. It raises the front of the tractor about ONE inch. I've used a tiller, Brinly plow and cultivators, and dozer blades. Never had the first issue.
