kj4kicks 154 #1 Posted July 13, 2008 Hooked up with Wayne today for some big time fun. Yes, TT, there is a Santa Claus... the puller can PULL! The C-161 weighed in 220 pounds light, as expected, but still did pretty well according to Wayne. Here's a video of the pull: http://wh.classickitchensandmore.com/Pull%207-12-08/E01.AVI Here's Wayne's 2 runs (more impressive than mine, I must admit). http://wh.classickitchensandmore.com/Pull%...-08/Wayne01.AVI http://wh.classickitchensandmore.com/Pull%...-08/Wayne02.AVI We had the RedSquare banner flying, despite being the only 2 Horses there. Deere Hunter 54 #11 Posted July 13, 2008 E, Just got in the house at 12:45. To tired to unload the truck tonite it can wait till morning. You didnt waste anytime gettin the pics and vids uplaoded. lol Gonna have to find a computer on high speed tomorrow to see the video. Still on a rush from the last round :horseplay: As far as the results of the pull.....E didnt come in last place even being 220 lbs light. Alitte extra weight in the right spots and it will be a top finisher for sure! As for Deere Hunter, well lets say I picked the wrong part of the track the 1st round, came in 3rd. But for the 2nd round I made up for it, got a little bold and pulled a higher gear and put it to the field....took first place
kj4kicks 154 #12 Posted July 13, 2008 Whew ! Glad you made it home ok, and got to post the results. Do you have any idea how hard it was not to spill the beans on your results ? It was great being your shadow today, and Thanks Again for all the help!
DMESS 24 #13 Posted July 13, 2008 CONGRATS on handing out a whoopin Wayne! That track sure does look sticky alright. Wish I could have made it down, but like I told E, I need more than 4 hrs sleep before a 12 hr night at work! I had a late morning and it wasn't gonna work out. Good work flying the RS banner guys. Deere Hunter 54 #17 Posted July 14, 2008 Hey E, Stopped by the sister inlaws place today and I borrowed her computer (with highspeed). The videos turned out great. Think I could hire ya fulltime to video all my pulls. lol I know how it feels to go down the track but never get to see many videos of myself, so After watching them about 20 times I figure I better learn how to slip the clutch longer or figure out how to get it to hook up better. You can really tell it was blowing the tires off for 10-15 feet before it really hooked up. B)
kj4kicks 154 #18 Posted July 14, 2008 See Wayne, I told you it would be an educational video. Nothing better than watching game tape to learn how to improve your game! Glad I could help, and I'd be happy to go to more pulls with you! B)
DOC in Kentucky 178 #19 Posted July 14, 2008 Eldon, The look on your face says it all. It looks like you had a great time and I am bettin" it won't be your last pull. Great pics and vids too. Thanks for sharing B)
nylyon-(Admin) 7,882 #20 Posted July 14, 2008 Eldon I can see that you are truly enjoying every aspect of Wheel Horses. I think it is great that you have such enthusiasm and energy and so much fun and enjoyment with the tractors and now with pulling. The video is great and although I can't picture you yelling "MULEEEEE DRIVE" or "ICE CREAMMMM" (or what ever you guys yell) I can picture how much fun you are having. Great pictures and video, and thank you again for flying the flag!
Curmudgeon 28 #21 Posted July 14, 2008 HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It still won't play in my browser, but by saving it to my computer it'll play correctly. Gotta do what you gotta do! Great run Eldon. Next time, lean opposite the way you want the tractor to go. That'll put more weight on that tire, giving it more traction, and turning it the opposite way. Can't wait to see your next run! Now I gotta go save Wayne's runs so I can view them. I'm happier than a finger in snot finally figuring out how to view these suckers!!!!!
