Questions About Matt's Hyrdro Foot Pedal Set Up.

Ok The foot pedal seems to be farther forward then i want it to be. Is there a reason I can only go so far on the threaded rod that connects to the pedal? Ive lubed polished everything but still have a problem getting reverse to return to zero. I shortened the spring to add more tension which helped the forward to retrun but the rev is still struggling to return. If anyone can help me through figuring out this set up that would be great.

Can you please post some pictures of the setup? Have you identified any areas where the part(s) are binding? Have you seen this update bulletin that I posted -
