zieg72 209 #1 Posted May 11, 2012 Well I bought it with a sheared/missing engine pulley key-way. I really only heard it run for a minute or two when it made so much racket when the shaft was spinning while the pulley stayed put. A stop at Home Depot and $1.64 later with a little time and a quick battery charge she purrs like a kitten... Put a plow bracket I purchased from Red Cow underneath and a 42" plow I got from Commando1 and pushed a little dirt and rocks around. Sweet running little tractor... I wonder was size deck it would handle???
CRE1992 135 #2 Posted May 11, 2012 they typically handled 36" rear discharge, and 37" 2 blade side discharge decks.
Red Horse 33 #3 Posted May 11, 2012 That 308 will handle a 37" sd with ease. Will also push a belly grader blade with ease as well. Looks like your 308 is an 87 model if I'm not mistaken. Mine has the full red nose treatment as its an 86 model.

zieg72 209 #7 Posted May 14, 2012 Moved 3 loads of dirt and a bunch of gravel. Really surprised how well it does. Started right up so I don't think I'll have to put a battery in it after all.
